April 10-24, 2017
This 14-day online mini-course introduces tools and best practices for effective course design, applicable both to creating new courses and revising existing ones, be it from in-person to online formats, or from a 16-week schedule to an accelerated one.
Participants can expect to spend about 1 hour a day on class assignments. The mini-course is asynchronous and fully online. There are deadlines for activities but each person engages at times of her/is own choosing. There are a couple of optional opportunities to participate in a web conference meeting. These meetings are the only set times for meeting synchronously during the 14 days.
Instruction for this Mini-Course takes place in a D2L course site, registration is limited to 40 participants. Facilitated by Mascha Gemein.
