Online Education Project (OEP) Proposals Now Accepted

The Office of Instruction and Assessment is proud to announce a call for Online Education Project (OEP) proposals. Project proposals for this second year of the OEP will be due by 3:00 p.m. on Friday, September 28, 2012.  Please see the attached RFP for details on project specifics and proposal requirements.

The OEP assists faculty in developing high quality courses that increase students’ access to courses needed in their general education and majors.  Student access to courses is often challenged by distance from the university during the summer and winter sessions, scheduling problems during the regular academic year, and low seat ability in high-demand courses throughout the year.  The OEP is focused on assisting faculty in converting face-to-face courses into hybrid, fully-online, and summer/winter session courses to address all of these access challenges encountered by students.  The OEP is supported with student technology fees (see http://oep.arizona.edu).
